Taking care of your feet is imperative, especially as you age. At NPFHT, our foot care team strive to provide quality care by carefully assessing and treating foot conditions and problems. Your foot care team consists of; a registered foot care nurse and a registered chiropodist. The foot care nurse has completed a degree in nursing and has undergone additional training to provide foot care. The chiropodist is a licensed professional who completed a bachelor’s degree and then under went an extensive 3-4 year training program to be able to assess and treat various foot conditions. The chiropodist and foot care nurse work together as a team to ensure your feet are happy!

At NPFHT, some services we provide are:

·      Nail care

·      Corn and callus care

·      Diabetic foot risk assessments

·      Education on footwear, various foot conditions, general foot care at home

·      Plantar wart treatments

·      Ingrown toe nails care

·      Nail fungus care

·      Minor foot surgeries/procedures

What to expect on your visit:

·      Taking medical history as required

·      Thorough foot assessment

·      Treatment as required

·      Education and consultation
